The Partnership for Democratic Governance (PDG) was established in 2007 as a pilot initiative to gather evidence on innovative ways to improve the delivery of basic services and government functions in post-conflict and fragile states. The PDG was housed by the OECD and supported by UNDP, and concluded its mandate on 30 June 2011. Find out more about the Partnership for Democratic Governance.

Today, the mandate of the PDG pilot initiative comes to an end. At the request of our members, a Concluding Report on the Partnership for Democratic Governance has been prepared by the PDG Advisory Unit. It summarises the accomplishments, challenges and lessons learned by the PDG over the course of its mandate. The PDG Advisory Unit is closed as of 1 July 2011. After this date, please direct any requests for information on the PDG to Mr. James Eberlein (james.eberlein@oecd.org).
