During his second official visit to the People's Republic of China, Angel Gurría attended the 10th annual meeting of the China Development Forum, which this year took the theme China’s Development and Reform in the Global Financial Crisis.
At the China Development Forum Mr. Gurría gave the speech Beyond the crisis: for a stronger, cleaner, fairer world economy. He also participated in the launch of the Chinese language translation of OECD Investment Policy Reviews: China 2008: Encouraging Responsible Business Conduct (read his remarks) and the OECD Rural Policy Review of China (read his remarks). OECD Reviews of Regulatory Reform: China: Defining the Boundary between the Market and the State was also launched during his official visit.
