On the occasion of his official visit to India, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría launched on 4 December the Investment Policy Review of India during a press conference in the presence of Mr. Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industry. On 3 December, the Secretary-General also opened the India-OECD Symposium along with Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India. This event was co-organised by the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) and the OECD.
