19/04/2012 - The OECD’s latest Economic Survey of Korea, to be published on Thursday 26 April 2012, discusses the country’s fast and vigorous recovery from the global economic crisis, as well as the challenges it faces to sustain long-term growth. The study highlights reform recommendations for education and labour policy and proposes how Korea can successfully implement its long-term Green Growth strategy.
OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría will present the Survey during a news conference with Korea’s Minister of Strategy and Finance Jae-Wan Bahk in Seoul, at 14:30 p.m., at the Korean Federation of Banks (19 Myeong-dong 11-gil (Myeong-dong 1-ga), Jung-gu, Seoul, 100-021, Republic of Korea.)
The survey will be available to journalists in English on the OECD's password-protected website at 07.30 a.m. Paris time for immediate release.

The Economic Survey of Korea will be presented by OECD senior economist Randall Jones during a public seminar hosted by the Korea Development Institute (KDI) on Thursday 26 April 2012, starting at 16:00 p.m. The seminar, which is open to the public, will take place at the Lotte Hotel, 30 Eulji-ro, Jung-Gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
