OECD Government at a Glance 2017 launches Thursday 13 July at 11:00 CEST

10/07/2017 - How have public administrations evolved since the global economic crisis? Which countries have seen the biggest changes in public spending and employment? Are there more or fewer public employees per citizen today compared with before the crisis? How does the pay gap between senior managers and professionals in central government vary by country, and how do the salaries of police officers and immigration officers compare?

The latest edition of the OECD’s biennial overview of public governance, Government at a Glance 2017, will be published on Thursday 13 July at 11:00 CET (10:00 GMT). The report compares OECD and partner countries in areas like public sector spending, employment, pay and investment using around 60 indicators.
