14/10/2008 - A new OECD report analysing trends in income distribution and poverty in the 30 OECD member countries will be published on Tuesday 21 October 2008.

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría, together with Martin Hirsch, Haut Commissaire aux Solidarités Actives contre la Pauvreté, and Professor Sir Anthony Atkinson, Research Professor, Oxford University, will present “Growing Unequal?” at a news conference the same day at 09.00 a.m. at OECD headquarters in Paris (2 rue André Pascal, 75016).

A separate briefing for journalists on the report’s findings on France will take place directly after the news conference.

A seminar will follow at 11.00 a.m. with OECD experts and social partners to discuss the report’s findings and policies to tackle inequality and poverty. Information on the seminar is available here.

The publication will be available to journalists under embargo on the OECD’s password-protected website from Monday 20 October for release at 09.00 a.m. Paris time on Tuesday 21 October.
