OECD annual inflation stable at 1.7% in October 2014

02/12/2014 - Consumer prices in the OECD area rose by 1.7% in the year to October 2014, the same rate as in the year to September 2014. Energy prices fell by 0.3% in the year to October compared with a fall of 0.1% in the year to September. Food price inflation slowed slightly to 2.5% in the year to October, compared with 2.6% in the year to September. Excluding food and energy, the OECD annual inflation rate was stable at 1.8% in October.
