Cutting Red Tape: Administrative Simplification in Poland - Making Policies Perform

To date, Poland has adopted a complex administrative simplification programme, based on methods successfully used in other OECD countries. It has two main streams: one focused on simplifying licences and permits, the other on measuring and reducing regulatory burdens. This report reviews the programme with the aim of helping Poland to make it and its implementation more efficient.

Veracruz dispose d'une économie traditionnelle, basée sur les ressources, avec une population peu qualifiée, et un taux élevé de pauvreté. Ce rapport met en avant comment Veracruz s’est transformé, d’une région sous performante, en retard à un centre de connaissance et d’innovation.

ICPHSO International Day on consumer product safety

The OECD will participate in the ICPHSO event, which will be held on 15-18 February 2010, in Washington D.C. During the meeting, the OECD outcomes of an analytic review of cross-border information sharing mechanisms will be shared and discussed. The conclusions of the debate will be then taken into account for the OECD future work on consumer product safety.
