Les pays de l'OCDE ont réaffirmé les engagements qu’ils ont souscrits en matière d’aide vis-à-vis des pays en développement et entendent s’abstenir de prendre des mesures commerciales protectionnistes, dans le cadre d’un effort concerté visant à soutenir l’économie mondiale et à combattre la récession.

2008 OECD Global Forum on Trade - Rapporteur's Report

The 2008 OECD Global Forum on Trade brought together trade policy makers from OECD countries and a number of emerging economies to discuss global trade policy challenges. The Forum examined two important issues in particular: the impact of emerging economies on recent international market developments and the political economy of trade.

Policy Dialogue on Aid for Trade, 3-4 November 2008

The OECD with the support of the European Commission and the German Marshall Fund of the United States organized a Policy Dialogue on Aid for Trade during 3-4 November 2008 in the OECD Conference Centre. This two-day event brought together policy makers, development practitioners and academics to discuss ways for these stakeholders to help developing countries to build trade capacity and address supply-side constraints in order to realize the full benefits of integration in the world economy.
