The OECD hosted two side events at the Climate Change Talks in Barcelona -- the last UNFCCC sessions before COP15 Copenhagen. 1. "Financing for Enhanced Climate Change Action: Mitigation and Adaptation" was organised by climate change experts from the Environment and Development Co-operation directorates; 2. “Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Climate Change” was co-hosted by ITU, OECD and GeSI.

Après avoir mené à terme son projet sur les besoins d’infrastructures à l’horizon 2030 (2005-2007) portant sur les télécommunications, l’eau, l'électricité et les transports de surface, le Programme de l’OCDE sur l’avenir lance à présent une étude sur les ports, aéroports et autres grandes infrastructures intracontinentales et intercontinentales. La première réunion du Groupe de Pilotage aura lieu le 19 Novembre à Paris et sera suivie le 20 Novembre par un atelier centré sur le financement des infrastructures dans l'avenir.
