Le nouveau projet du CERI Éducation et progrès social (EPS) est conçu pour analyser le rôle que jouent les aptitudes cognitives et non cognitives dans l’émergence de mesures tendant au bien-être et au progrès social dans les pays de l’OCDE, et préciser comment il est possible de favoriser l’émergence des aptitudes essentielles dans des environnements d’apprentissage formels, non formels et informels, incluant la famille, l’école et la communauté.

Cette conférence, organisée par l'OCDE et Alberta Canada, est l'événement le plus ambitieux à ce jour pour les travaux du CERI sur le projet "Les environnements d'apprentissage innovants". Elle s'appuie sur les travaux récents effectués sur l'apprentissage et la recherche et aborde en détail les analyses en cours des "cas innovants" ainsi que les nouvelles étapes axées sur les questions clés de "mise en œuvre et le changement".

La première conférence du projet EDU/CERI "Administration des systèmes éducatifs complexes" se tiendra à La Haye, Pays-Bas, les 21-22 novembre 2011. Le thème de la réunion est le rôle des administrations centralisées au sein des systèmes éducatifs complexes, à plusieurs niveaux.

L’information sur ce sujet a été initiallement recueillie via une enquête conduite dans le cadre de l’ étude analytique de l’OCDE « Les TIC et la formation initiale des enseignants », menée au CERI sous le nom suivant : « Les apprenants du nouveau millénaire ».

This toolkit aims to provide a practical starting point for businesses around the world to improve the efficiency of their production processes and products enabling them to contribute to sustainable development and green growth. It includes an internationally applicable common set of indicators helping businesses measure their environmental performance at the level of a plant or facility. In addition to the Toolkit's web portal, the user guide booklet is now available.

Innovation is key to green growth. It helps decouple growth from natural capital depletion and contributes to economic growth and job creation. Business is the driver of innovation, but governments need to provide clear and stable market signals. This book explores policy actions for the deployment of new technologies and innovations as they emerge: investment in research and development, support for commercialisation, strengthening markets and fostering technology diffusion. Competition will be essential to bring out the best solutions.

Firms and entrepreneurs are exploring green business opportunities increasingly based on systemic thinking and radical innovations with the aim of capturing and creating value from new business models. Both the OECD and Nordic Innovation (NI) are currently conducting business case studies on business model-based eco-innovation. This workshop, which was held in Copenhagen, showcased good practices from these studies and showed enhanced understanding of the role that new business models play, as well as establishing a network of experts and innovators in this area.

In addition to being the 50th anniversary of the OECD, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of China’s first OECD observer status through its observership in the OECD Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP). This anniversary roundtable will focus on three policy issues of common interest to China and OECD countries: governance of national innovation systems, management of public research, and demand-side policies for innovation.

Cet atelier qui s’est tenu à Paris était consacré aux mécanismes de collaboration tels que les centres d’échange pour la propriété intellectuelle, les communautés de brevets, les accords types/cadres, les échanges et enchères de PI et d’autres formes de partenariats pour l’innovation. Plusieurs initiatives présentées à l’atelier ont déjà suscité de l’intérêt au plan international.

L’une des principales conclusions de cet atelier a été que les pouvoirs publics devaient associer des instruments axés sur le volontarisme technologique, comme les subventions et les incitations à la R-D, à d’autres qui agissent sur la demande, tels que les marchés publics et la réglementation. Les débats et les exposés présentés par les experts ont fourni un nouvel éclairage et des exemples de mesures par lesquelles les pays tentent de mettre en œuvre ce principe.

La conférence OCDE/France intitulée « L'enseignement supérieur à l'horizon 2030 » s'est tenue les 8 et 9 décembre 2008 à Paris, avec l'objectif de présenter et de discuter l'avenir possible et désirable de l'enseignement supérieur.
