Aid for Trade Regional Events, September - October 2007

The OECD organised a series of Practitioners Fora on Monitoring Aid for Trade as part of the regional aid-for-trade events that were hosted by the WTO and the Regional Development Banks in Latin America (Lima, Peru, 13-14 September), Asia (Manila, Philippines, 19-21 September), and Africa (Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, 1-2 October) in advance of the first Annual Global Review of Aid for Trade in the November 2007 WTO General Council meeting.

'Aid for Trade: From Policy to Practice', Doha, 6-7 November, 2006

A Policy Dialogue between OECD Members and non-Members "Aid for Trade: From Policy to Practice" took place in Doha, Qatar on 6 and 7 November 2006. This Policy Dialogue between OECD and non-OECD countries on Aid for Trade brought together a wide range of stakeholders from developing and developed countries to share experiences and information on how best to support developing countries' trade expansion and make it an engine of economic growth and poverty reduction. Presentations  are available for download.
