The LEED Programme received a group of Latin American Leaders in the OECD Headquarters in Paris. This group came as part of the first European Cities Study Tour sponsored by the World Bank Institute. Some LEED Partners as well as French and European authorities took part in the discussions.

Inter-American Development Bank & LEED Programme Co-operation

The Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) through its Special Office in Europe is a full member of the OECD LEED Programme working jointly on how to foster local development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Conference on From Co-operative to Social Enterprise, Trento, Italy, 19-20 December 2003

This international seminar, is jointly promoted by ISSAN and the EMES Network, in partnership with the LEED Programme. It aims at exploring the evolution of the co-operative form from a mutuality tradition towards a new model with a large participation, by focusing on some national co-operative experiences.

La coopération entre la BID et le Programme LEED

La Banque Interaméricaine de Développement (BID) à travers sa représentation spéciale en Europe, est devenue membre du Programme LEED de l'OECD en décembre 2001. Leur collaboration est focalisée dans les activités qui visent à renforcer le développement local des pays de l'Amérique latine et les Caraïbes.

Inauguration du Centre OCDE LEED à Trente, Italie, 6 décembre 2003

Le 11 juin 2003, le Conseil de l’OCDE a décidé de créer, en collaboration avec le gouvernement italien et la Provence autonome de Trente, un Centre OCDE LEED pour le développement local en Trente. Cette initiative a été achevée, et ce nouveau Centre a été inauguré le 6 décembre dernier. Nouvelle publication: Managing Decentralisation: A New Role for Labour Market Policy (anglais seulement)

Capacity building seminar on “Building Development Strategies for Cities and Regions”, Trento, Italy

This 5-day capacity building seminar will focus on the local development strategy design and implementation and more specifically it will emphasize the role of strategy in integrating different drivers, factors and enablers of local economic development. This event will bring together 60 experienced policy makers and practitioners from Central, East and South East Europe working in the area of regional and local development strategy building.

Conference on "Local Economic Strategies for Equity and Growth: Building on Success - Glasgow's Future Prosperity", Glasgow

Capacity building seminar on “Evaluation as a Tool for Local Development Strategy Building” Trento, Italy

The seminar will bring together the policy makers and practitioners from the CEE and SEE countries allowing for discussion i) how to best introduce and implement prior assessment so that it serves as a tool for local strategy design and delivery ii) how to best support the local level so that evaluation becomes an opportunity for learning and stops being perceived as a threat.

Stakeholders Meeting “Developing Skills for Endogenous Development”, Tirana and Shkoder, Albania

8ème Forum Economique du Sommet de la ICE (Initiative Centre Européenne), Bratislava, Slovaquie, 23-24 Novembre 2005

Cette année au Forum Economique du Sommet de la ICE ont été présentées les Réformes clés pour la Compétitivité. 
Cet évènement a permis à de nombreux participants d’élargir leur réseau de contacts professionnels et d’établir une coopération sur les projets d’investissement et les programmes de développement.
Le FES a constitué un lieu propice aux discussions sur les réformes structurelles nécessaires pour améliorer l’environnement du business et les stratégies de développement pour la croissance de la compétitivité.
