La gouvernance pluri-niveaux

La gouvernance pluri-niveaux devient une priorité dans de nombreux pays de l’OCDE. Ce document de travail met en évidence les questions clés de gouvernance réglementaire pluri-niveaux et contribue au développement « d’un cadre d’analyse pluri-niveaux de la gouvernance réglementaire ». Il s’appuie sur le concept de réglementation de grande qualité, sur les Principes directeurs de l’OCDE pour la qualité et la performance de la réglementation, ainsi que sur d’autres études analytiques antérieures de la gouvernance réglementaire pluri-niveaux. L’OCDE reconnaît les progrès accomplis par la Turquie dans la lutte contre la corruption d’agents publics étrangers

Le Groupe de travail de l’OCDE sur la corruption, qui rassemble 38 pays, s’est félicité des progrès accomplis récemment par la Turquie dans l’application de la Convention anticorruption de l’OCDE. Le Groupe de travail a achevé la Phase 2bis de son examen de la Turquie, consistant à évaluer les principaux domaines jugés problématiques lors de l’évaluation de la Phase 2.

Multi-level Regulatory Governance

Multi-level regulatory governance is becoming a priority in many OECD countries. This Working Paper identifies some of the key policy issues related to multi-level regulatory governance and contributes to a “Framework for Analysis of Multi-level Regulatory Governance”, taking as a basis the concept of high quality regulation and following the OECD Guiding Principles for Regulatory Quality and Performance and previous analytical work on multi-level regulatory governance.

A new role for regional policy: local responses for a global crisis

Speaking at the ministerial meeting of the territorial development policy committee, Mr. Gurría affirmed that urban and rural regions have a core role to play in promoting sustainable growth. Mayors and regional officials are leading efforts to encourage public transportation, implement climate change action plans, and curb air pollution.

Re-launching the Economy after the L'Aquila Earthquake

The earthquake in L’Aquila, Italy, killed almost 300 people and destroyed a large part of the built environment, as well as essential infrastructure networks.   International experts and policy practitioners from around the world discussed and assessed policy options to restore and re-launch the regional economy which was severely hit by the earthquake.

Developing Rural Policies to Meet the Needs of a Changing World

The Annual OECD Rural Development Conference will this year be held in Quebec, Canada. Combining a series of workshops, exhibits and field visits, this broad ranging conference will look at rural policy in relation to a vast array of sectors including forestry, energy, climate change, tourism and more.  It will also focus on responding to the financial crisis and recession in rural areas.

Democracy 2.0 - Norway, the UK and OECD

Can blogs, wikis, Twitter and Facebook enhance public participation, transparency, and democracy?  Teknologirådet and the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform (FAD) held a workshop in Oslo where they launched the new OECD report 'Focus on Citizens: Public Engagement for Better Policy and Services' .

The Implementation of the EU Service Directive

Sustainable Development and Planning in Metropolitan Regions

Green Cities: New Approaches to Confronting Climate Change

The OECD organised a joint workshop with the Las Palmas Municipality, Gran Canaria, Spain. The workshop explored practical tools city officials can use to fight climate change and catalyse their economies.
