D’après l’OCDE, les fonds de pension se redressent en 2009

Les fonds de pension ont entamé un redressement partiel pendant la première moitié de 2009, générant des retours sur investissement de 3.5 % en termes nominaux. Toutefois, au 30 juin 2009, le total des actifs des fonds de pension reste en retrait de 14% par rapport au niveau de décembre 2007, selon la dernière édition du Point sur le Marché des Pensions de l’OCDE.

2008 Survey of Investment Regulation of Pension Funds

The OECD has today published the results of the 2008 Survey of Investment Regulation of Pension Funds.

The document describes quantitative investment regulations on pension funds in OECD and selected non-OECD countries as of end December 2008. The information collected concerns all forms of quantitative portfolio restrictions (minima and maxima) applied to autonomous pension funds in OECD countries at different legal levels (law, regulation, industry norms, etc).

 

Private pensions need long-term, appropriate performance benchmarks

The OECD and the World Bank today announced the preliminary results of their project evaluating the financial performance of pension funds around the world.

The project aims to examine how to measure financial performance of pension funds taking into account the link between participants’ benefits to the performance of financial markets.

Resale Price Maintenance

The term "resale price maintenance" refers to a practice in which suppliers and resellers come to an understanding that places restrictions on the prices resellers may charge. There are several types of such agreements, the most common involves a supplier agreeing with retailers not to charge less than a certain price for the supplier's product.  RPM may harm consumers by restricting intrabrand price competition, but RPM may benefit consumers by promoting interbrand competition. Despite these mixed effects, most OECD countries treat RPM as a per se violation of their competition laws.
