L’OCDE surveille le développement des systèmes privés de retraites, dont le rôle est de plus en plus important, et analyse leur performance dans un contexte international. Cette nouvelle publication fournit des données essentielles en matière d’investissements, d’adhésions, de prestations et de structure du secteur. Ces données sont fondées sur les dernières statistiques officielles disponibles. La publication contient également un rapport spécial sur les implications de la crise financière pour les retraites et les politiques en matière de pensions privées.

Israël a rejoint le Groupe de travail de l’OCDE sur la corruption

Israël a rejoint officiellement le Groupe de travail de l’OCDE sur la corruption le 9 décembre – date de la Journée internationale de lutte contre la corruption – et est devenu ainsi le 38e pays et le premier au Moyen-Orient à signer la Convention anticorruption de l’OCDE.

OECD guidance on recipient country policies towards SWFs

“OECD and partner countries welcome investments from SWFs as a positive force for development and global financial stability”, Mr. Gurría said in Washington on 11 October. “Taken together, the OECD guidance for recipient countries and the Santiago Principles for SWFs provide the international community with a robust framework for promoting mutual trust and confidence and reaping the full benefits of SWFs for home and host countries.”

2nd EIR/OECD Conference on Pensions and Long-run Investments, Paris, 2 April 2004

The 2nd EIR/OECD Conference on Pensions and Long-run Investments was organised at the OECD Headquarters in Paris on 2 April 2004. Over 50 guests were present, including private sector, researchers and pension regulators. The event was opened by William Witherell, Director of DAFE, OECD. The focus of the event was on pension fund investment in both DB and DC systems. The first part of the meeting focused on DB plans. Asset-liability modelling models and the implications of ageing for defined benefit plans were discussed in detail. The second half of the meeting looked at the new DC plans in Ireland, the OECD on-going work on statistical data collection and regulatory policies for private pension systems.

The Third International OECD Conference on Private Pensions in Brazil will  be held in  Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the 3rd and 4th of May at the Hotel Intercontinental. This seminar is jointly organised by the OECD and the Brazilian Ministries of Finance and of Pensions under the aegis of the OECD programme of the Centre for Co-operation with Non-Members. The event is co-sponsored by the government of Japan and by the National Association of Private Pension (ANAPP) of Brazil.

Third OECD/INPRS Conference on Private Pensions in Asia and 2004 Asian-Pacific Regional INPRS Meeting, 30 March - 1 April 2004, Manila, Philippines

The 3rd Conference on Private Pensions in Asia was held in Manila, the Philippines from 30 March – 1 April 2004. These events were jointly organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) under the aegis of the International Network of Pension Regulators and Supervisors (INPRS) activities. The events were also part of the OECD programme of the Centre for Co-operation with Non-Members, and were co-sponsored by the Government of Japan.

Conference on Mobilising Investment for Development in the Middle East and North Africa Region

OECD-Africa Investment Initiative for Growth and Development
