L'OCDE publie son rapport annuel sur les Principes directeurs à l'intention des entreprises multinationales

Cette édition dresse un état des mesures prises entre juin 2006 et juin 2007 par les gouvernements adhérents pour renforcer la contribution des Principes directeurs à un meilleur fonctionnement de l’économie mondiale. Elle contient également les résultats de la Table ronde annuelle de l’OCDE sur la responsabilité des entreprises qui a été consacrée aux les Principes directeurs et le secteur financier.

Consultation publique sur la crise et le gouvernement d'entreprise

La crise financière a mis à jour de nombreuses défaillances des mécanismes de gouvernement d’entreprise. Dans le cadre de sa réponse stratégique face à la crise, l’OCDE recherche la contribution des parties prenantes concernées pour développer des recommandations afin de remédier à ces défaillances du gouvernement d’entreprise liées à la crise financière.

OECD launches the investment policy review of China

During his second official visit to the People's Republic of China, Angel Gurría launched the Chinese language translation of OECD's investment policy review of China which looks at Chinese government efforts to encourage responsible business conduct against the backdrop of recent regulatory changes and China's increasing outward investment.

Public consultation on the draft IAIS-OECD Issues Paper on Insurer Corporate Governance

The OECD and the IAIS invited public comments on a draft issues paper on the governance of insurers. The purpose of the issues paper is to provide background on insurer corporate governance, describe practices and identify possible regulatory and supervisory issues in relation to the governance of insurers.

Timed for release during the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul, the OECD has developed practical guidance for governments wishing to engage the private sector in water infrastructure. The guidance provides a coherent catalogue of policy directions in the form of a checklist for public action.

Guidelines for fighting bid rigging in public procurement

These guidelines provide the most comprehensive strategy available today for designing tenders to hinder bid rigging conspiracies and for uncovering existing conspiracies. They can be applied in a decentralised manner across government at both national and local levels and are simple enough for use by officials with no specialised economics or competition policy training. 

Israel joins OECD Anti-bribery Convention

On 11 March 2009, Israel became the 38th signatory to the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention which outlaws bribery of foreign public officials in international business transactions. Israel’s accession to the Convention represents an important commitment to the international fight against corruption.

Conference on Investment for Development: Making It Happen

Hosted by the Government of Brazil with the support of the BNDES and organised under the auspices of the OECD Investment Committee in partnership with the World Bank, this conference aimed to draw lessons from Brazil’s experience with improving the enabling environment for investment and sustainable growth.  It also focused on strengthening developing country perspectives on the Policy Framework for Investment.

Conference on Investment for Asian Development: Lessons so Far, Challenges for the Future

Company Leaders Launch Latin American Corporate Governance Initiative

The Latin American Roundtable on Corporate Governance launched, on May 10th in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a new Companies Circle. This is an initiative led by companies who have adopted best practices of corporate governance. Its objectives are to bring together a group of Latin American companies who have adopted best corporate governance practices to provide private sector input into the work of the Roundtable; and to share with each other and the public their experiences putting the principles of good corporate governance into practice.

MENA-OECD (Middle East and North Africa) Investment Steering Group Meeting

OECD/IOPS Conference on Private Pensions in Asia

This conference, jointly organised by OECD and IOPS, took place on 27-28 April 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand. It aimed to provide an international forum for the discussion on specific policy issues and challenges in the implementation of pension reforms in Asia, with a particular focus to be laid on the reform process in Thailand and on “best practice” regulatory mechanisms used in the OECD countries to ensure efficient and appropriate pension provision under diversified approaches in the design of the retirement schemes.

Conference on Alliances for Integrity – Government and Business Roles in Enhancing African Standards of Living

OECD/INPRS Forum on Private Pension Reform in Emerging Countries

The 2004 INPRS/OECD Forum on Private Pension Reform in Emerging Economies took place in Paris, France on 12-3 July 2004. This meeting lead to the establishment of a new, formal association of pension supervisors, the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS).

G-8 Investment Task Force and MENA-OECD Investment Programme
