Le Pérou est devenu le 41e signataire de la Déclaration de l'OCDE sur l'investissement international et les entreprises multinationales. Cette adhésion marque la reconnaissance des importants progrès accomplis par ce pays dans la réforme de ses politiques de l’investissement.

Plus de 30 représentants de la société civile, du secteur privé, d’organisations multilatérales et des professionnels du droit ont rencontré le Groupe de travail sur la corruption le 16 juin. Les individus et organisations ont ainsi eu l’occasion de clarifier et développer les points soulevés dans leurs réponses écrites soumises en réponse au Document de consultation Réexamen des instruments de l'OCDE sur la lutte contre la corruption.

The Investment Compact for South East Europe and the Regional Co-operation Council have launched a partnership to boost South East Europe's business climate. Both partners and governments of the region have agreed to introduce an integrated approach to reform that will involve evaluations of business climate policy, agreement on priorities and capacity building to improve competitiveness in the region.

Estonia has focused its anti-corruption efforts to date on domestic bribery only, according to a new report by the OECD Working Group on Bribery. The Estonian public and private sectors accordingly have very low awareness of the foreign bribery offence and the OECD Convention.

In March 2008, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) published proposed changes to International Accounting Standard No. 19 (IAS 19). If enacted, these changes are expected to have a significant impact on company financials on a global basis. This paper identifies and discusses some of the proposed changes, as well as their likely impact on exchange-listed companies reporting in accordance with IAS 19.

This document includes an executive summary and the documents from the meeting: written submissions from the Czech Republic, the European Commission, Finland, Ireland, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, South Africa, Chinese Taipei, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States as well as an aide-memoire of the discussion.

Les sorties d’investissement direct étranger (IDE) des pays de l’OCDE ont connu une poussée sans précédent en 2007, où elles ont atteint un montant de 1.82 trillion USD contre 1.2 trillion USD l’année précédente, mais d’après les estimations de l’OCDE, elles devraient chuter en 2008.

De quelle manière les normes énoncées par la Convention sont-elles mise en œuvre dans la législation sud-africaine ? Ce rapport évalue la transposition en droit sud-africain de la Convention sur la lutte contre la corruption de l'OCDE, de la Recommendation révisée de 1997, et de la Recommandation révisée de 1996 sur la déductibilité fiscale des pots-de-vin versés à des agents publics étrangers. Ce rapport décrit également les structures en place en Afgrique du Sud pour la mise en œuvre de la Convention. La version française sera bientôt disponible.

Une table ronde a identifié les facteurs qui ralentissent l’investissement dans les infrastructures de transport en Afrique, en se basant sur les expériences nationales et les bonnes pratiques.

Le Réseau est un forum stratégique permettant de débattre des grandes questions relatives à la gestion financière des catastrophes de grande ampleur au niveau mondial. Son objectif est de fournir aux responsables de l’action publique des conseils et des avis particulièrement qualifiés.

The first OECD Forum on African Public Debt Management which took place in Amsterdam on 7-8 December 2006 focused on specific local African problems, challenges, and debt management issues. It also aimed to acquaint African Debt Managers with OECD best practices in public debt management and government securities.
