On 24 & 25 March, the OECD and the German Ministry for Economics and Labour met in Berlin with representatives from business, labour, civil society and the media to bring an international perspective to the reform agenda that is currently in the forefront of the German policy discussion. OECD Secretary-General Donald J. Johnston and German Minister for Economy and Labour, Wolfgang Clement, opened the Forum, which looked at progress in economic reform that Germany has already made, steps that still need to be taken, and what can be learned from the experiences of other OECD countries.
