To date, 22 partner countries have participated in a field testing exercise of the version 4 Benchmarking and Assessment Methodology for Public Procurement Systems; other partner countries have used the methodology separately from the JV or intend to do so as part of the 2008 Paris Declaration Monitoring Report exercise. The reports of the countries who have used the methodology and who have agreed that the OECD-DAC publish their reports on this public website are attached as a demonstration of their willingness and openness to share their experiences and lessons with others.

Dans quelle mesure l'aide aux pays en développement contribue-t-elle de manière efficace à soutenir leurs efforts d'éradication de la pauvréte. Par la Déclaration de Paris sur li'efficacité de l'aide de mars 2005, plus d'une centaine de pays sont fermement engagés à mesurer le succès ou l'échec de leur action pour rendre l'aide plus efficace. Ce rapport d'un type novateur est un instantané de la situation en 2005.

34 countries that receive aid participated in a groundbreaking survey to measure the effectiveness of aid. Generally encouraging, the results show that developing countries and donors are working hard to made aid work better.

The Regional Workshop on Harmonization and Alignment for Latin America and the Caribbean: Exercising Leadership to Accelerate Change, was held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, on October 9 through 11, 2006. This workshop was to review and reinforce the implementation of the Paris Declaration at the country level.

22 countries from Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean have been selected as pilot countries in the Pilot Exercise. The purpose of this exercise is to field test the new, common methodology under different country conditions in order to improve the quality and the usefulness of the methodology and to support an improved policy dialogue between partner countries and their development partners about procurement reforms and capacity development.

The summary for the 2006 Asian Regional Forum on Aid Effectiveness is now available. The objective of this 3 day event was to facilitate implementation of the Paris Declaration in the Asian and Pacific regions at the political level as well as at the working level among Asian and Pacific partner countries and donors.

The PFM Flash Report offers information about activities under, or relevant for, the PFM Support Programme of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The 2008 Report is dedicated to experiences with the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability initiative at five Dutch Embassies in partner countries.
