Le Rapport succinct sur la gestion des finances publiques contient des informations sur les activités relevant du Programme de soutien à la gestion des finances publiques du ministère néerlandais des Affaires étrangères ou en relation avec ce Programme. Le Rapport 2008 est consacré aux expériences menées dans des pays partenaires par cinq ambassades des Pays-Bas dans le cadre d’une initiative sur les dépenses publiques et la responsabilité financière.

The main objective of the assessment was to test the methodology as a tool for assessing the quality of a country procurement system in terms of its effectiveness and efficiency which developing countries and development partners can use to assess quality and effectiveness of national procurement systems. The assessment was intended to provide the basis for formulating capacity development plans to improve the procurement system.

In 2007, the Government of Malawi undertook a capacity assessment of the country's public procurement system using the OECD-DAC Methodology for Assessment of National Procurement Systems in combination with the UNDP Approach to Procurement Capacity Assessment.

The documentation for the 2008 Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration is now available in English and French, and Spanish and can be downloaded on the dedicated website . Fifty-six countries have confirmed that they will be undertaking this survey. The survey is to be carried out between 2 January - 31 March 2008.

Members of the Working Group and other representatives of the JV for Procurement and interested members of BIAC to the OECD met to build on the results of the first meeting on 3 April, to give the Working Group the opportunity to hear firsthand the concerns of BIAC members and to discuss ways to continue the constructive dialog on strengthening partner country procurement systems. A summary note is available (in English). This meeting, held on 18 Sept in Copenhagen, was intended as one in a series of consultations and exchanges between the Joint Venture and BIAC.
