This Policy Guidance provides essential information and advice on how to mainstream climate change adaptation into development. The objectives are to promote understanding of the implications of climate change on development, to identify appropriate approaches for integrating adaptation into development policies at national, sectoral, project levels and in urban and rural contexts and to identify practical ways for donors to support developing country partners in their efforts to reduce their vulnerability to climate change.

7th Annual REPIN Meeting, October 2005, Moscow, Russian Federation

The seventh annual meeting of the EECCA Regulatory Environmental Programme Implementation Network (REPIN) took place on 17-18 October 2005 in Moscow, Russian Federation. The meeting discussed a draft report Review of Environmental Compliance Assurance system in Armenia; reviewed options for financing environmental compliance assurance systems in EECCA, considered draft Guiding Principles of Effective Environmental Permitting Systems, and assessed progress made since the previous REPIN meeting in September 2004 on implementing other projects of the REPIN work programme.
