The OECD Members of the Working Party on Export Credits and Credit Guarantees submit their cash flow results for officially supported export credits to the OECD Secretariat on an annual basis. The following Tables I, II, III, IV and V represent the results for 2010 and previous years, which are expressed in Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).

This report examines services schedules of commitments in 56 regional trade agreements (RTAs) where an OECD country is a party. The preferential content of RTAs is assessed through an analysis of market access and national treatment commitments at the level of the 155 sub-sectors of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) Sectoral Classification List. Partial commitments are broken down according to nine categories of non-conforming measures.

OECD held an experts meeting to review the use of indicators for aid-for-trade monitoring and evaluation. The meeting addressed whether there was a need for indicators, for what purpose and how to go forward. Experts provided insights into the demand for and the supply of aid-for-trade indicators. Participants also had a chance to hear what some donors were doing to improve their results management through using common indicators.

Trade can be a powerful engine for economic growth and poverty reduction. However, the growth potential of trade may not always be realized. While most trade reforms had a positive impact, some trade reforms proved unsustainable and others did not have a meaningful impact on growth. This paper discusses the various reasons for these outcomes in order to draw the lessons for the design of Aid for Trade and increase its effectiveness. Read the working paper.
