Private Pensions: OECD Classification and Glossary

Discussions on pension policy are often unnecessarily complicated by misunderstandings over basic definitions. The OECD has published a classification of private pension systems that is applicable world-wide, including a separate glossary of terms used in the private pensions field.

Strengthening Private Pensions: International standards, data and analysis

The Working Party on Private Pensions was established in 1999 to provide a forum for policy-makers from OECD countries to discuss public policy towards private pensions, with a focus on regulation. This booklet provides an overview of activities within the Working Party.
