Broadening Opportunities for Development: ABCDE 2011 to be co-hosted by the OECD

These are uncertain times for economic and social policy makers. The global economic crisis has tested their capacity to foster equitable growth, promote employment and protect society’s most vulnerable. At the 2011 Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics (ABCDE), leading economic thinkers and decision makers will discuss the challenges of Broadening Opportunities for Development. ABCDE 2011 will be held at the OECD in Paris on 30 May - 1 June. The World Bank and France are our co-hosts.
