An expert roundtable on investment in transport infrastructure and regional integration identified the factors that are holding investment back in African countries’ transport sector, drawing on experience sharing and best practices.

Conference on Investment for Development: Making It Happen

MENA-OECD (Middle East and North Africa) Investment Steering Group Meeting

Paris, France.  The Steering Group meeting focused on reviewing progress to date and next steps in implementing the MENA-OECD Investment Programme. The key areas of focus were transparent and open investment policies, investment promotion, a tax framework for investment, policies for financial sector and enterprise development and corporate governance practices.
