Survey of agencies' country-level activities

The OECD/DAC Network on Environment and Development Co-operation and the Poverty-Environment Partnership Network are tracking their members’ country-level activities related to environment and development. The main objectives of this survey are to provide an overview of “who is doing what and where”, and to facilitate collaboration between agencies. The Survey is updated regularly, and this version includes responses received by June 2007.

Meeting of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and the Environment Policy Committee (EPOC) at Ministerial Level

Economic growth and development are intricately linked to the sound management of environmental resources. It is the poorest countries and the poorest people who rely most heavily on environmental resources, and are therefore most affected by their degradation. This Ministerial meeting provided a timely opportunity to discuss the two-way relationship between poverty and environmental degradation and the scope for win-win approaches to address them.
