e-Government for Better Government (Spanish version): e-Gobierno para un Mejor Gobierno

e-Government for Better Government was published by the OECD in November 2005 and is now available in Spanish. It is distributed by the National Public Administration Institute (INAP) of Spain under the following title: e-Gobierno para un Mejor Gobierno.

e-Government in Belgium is clearly positioned to deliver user-focused services and is recognised as a tool for wider public sector reform. This report shows that the development and provision of future user-focused services, such as the common electronic identity (eID), will require the maximisation of synergies between the federal, regional and community governments and local authorities in Belgium.

Well-designed public engagement helps design and deliver effective public policy and services while strengthening trust in government. Part of the OECD's work on public governance involves looking at how governments can ensure more transparency, consultation and participation in the design and implementation of public policies and services.

Making Life Easy for Citizens and Businesses in Portugal: Administrative Simplification and e-Government

This report is the first OECD study to analyse the successes and challenges of both administrative simplification and e-government in a national context. The report analyses Portugal's simplification programme, the Simplex initiative, assesses its implications for the public sector and service delivery, and makes proposals for action that can help countries improve their simplification efforts.

Towards Government at a Glance : Identifying Core Data and Issues Related to Public Sector Efficiency

International Workshop on Building Citizen-Centred Policies and Services, Ljubljana, 26-27 June 2008

E-Leaders Conference 2008: The Future of E-Government - Agenda 2020, The Hague, 06-07 March 2008

The 2008 E-Leaders Conference brought together senior government officials responsible for e-government from OECD countries to discuss the role of e-government in 2020, the impact of e-government on economic development and the creation of an agenda for e-government and public sector delivery. The event was organised in co-operation with The Netherlands's Ministry of the Interior and Kingdgom Relations.
