Conference on "Training Strategies for Regional Competitiveness and Inclusion Through Employment", Seoul, Korea

This event was jointly organised with the Korean Labour Institute, a LEED Partner.  Korea is looking to transform its labour market policy as a tool to foster regional competitiveness and social cohesion.  This conference shared LEED's expertise in this field to facilitate the adoption of models from abroad, such as area-based partnerships and decentralised frameworks. Seminar on "What Future for Development Agencies?", London, UK

This seminar was jointly organised by the OECD LEED Programme and the Center for Public Policy Seminars (CPPS).  It looked at how development and successes of UK agencies fits with the global situation and examined the strenghts and weaknesses of the various development bodies in the UK. 

OECD Entrepreneurship Indicators Project Expert Workshop - "Understanding Entrepreneurship: Issues and Numbers", Paris

This workshop convened experts in the field of entrepreneurship research, policy and statistics to discuss policy priorities and associated data requirements in order to inform the work of an internationally comparable system of indicators to be developed by the OECD. It was held at the OECD Headquarters.

Conference on "Linking Creativity and Culture for an Innovative Local Development", Trento, Italy

This conference sought to increase awareness of policy makers and the private sector on the importance of culture in development policies. It was jointly organised by the LEED Programme and the Autonomous Province of Trento in cooperation with Federculture.

Seminar on Evaluating Local Development Strategies in Eger, Hungary

on 11-Oct-2005

This seminar was organised by the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development.  It focused on disseminating information and tools for best practice evaluation approaches. The event was a part of the activities of the Evaluation Unit at the OECD LEED Trento Centre that aims to develop a culture of evaluation of local development strategies which promote entrepreneurship, local cohesion and good governance. Seminar on "Promoting SME Innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other South-East European Countries", Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Expert Workshop on “Fostering Development through Entrepreneurship, Clusters and Local Initiatives”, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
