Training Material for the QSAR Application Toolbox

Slide shows and videos are available which guide the user in a step-by-step manner through a number of representative workflows with the Toolbox. This material can be freely used for training purposes.

 

Household Behaviour and the Environment: Reviewing the Evidence

Based on a review of empirical studies, this book analyses  the determinants of environmental behaviour in five key areas where households exert pressure on the environment: energy use, transport, waste generation, food consumption and water use. The book widens the scope of previous analysis by examining the effect of various types of environmental policy instruments and by considering differences in environmental behaviour among households (e.g. age, income, education). It concludes by examining main policy implications for the choice and the design of instruments.

Recent OECD Work on Climate Change / Global Warming

The OECD’s objective is to help its member countries prepare for the future by supporting them with sound policy analysis and options to achieve climate change goals in an environmentally-effective and economically-efficient manner. A number of projects are underway to implement this across several OECD Directorates and in the specialised agencies associated with the OECD, such as the IEA and the NEA. This document highlights this work.
