Pilot Orientation Workshops

Regional workshops in Anglophone Africa, Asia and Francophone Africa have been organised to provide guidance for national coordinators of each pilot country on the overall process and expected timelines of the joint venture pilot exercise.

Pilot countries selected

 22 countries from Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean have been selected as pilot countries in the Pilot Exercise. The purpose of this exercise is to field test the new, common methodology under different country conditions in order to improve the quality and the usefulness of the methodology and to support an improved policy dialogue between partner countries and their development partners about procurement reforms and capacity development.

Africa Regional Meeting: Procurement Capacity Development

The Government of Uganda hosted the Africa regional meeting on procurement capacity development in Kampala. This event was sponsored by the African Development Bank and the Africa Region of the World Bank in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the OECD-DAC Joint Venture for Procurement.
