    OECD's participation in the New International Airport of Mexico City Project (NAICM)

    On embarking on the construction of the New International Airport of Mexico City, the Government of Mexico requested support from the OECD to outline the best practices for integrity, transparency, and procurement of major infrastructure projects.

    This OECD report analyses the existing legal framework of public procurement in Mexico, lists areas in current laws and regulations which restrict the scope of action for the Mexican Institute of Social Services and other public agencies and their ability to obtain the best value from their purchases, and issues over 20 recommendations in specific areas on how to improve procurement procedures to avoid collusion amongst suppliers.

    OECD member countries support the one-stop shop Tuempresa.gob.mx

    Mexico introduced the one-stop shop "tuempresa.gob.mx" to simplify administrative procedures to start-up a business in Mexico and to facilitate better interaction between individuals and the goverment.
