The Working Group on Investment Policy and Promotion met on 23 March 2009 at the OECD headquarters in Paris.
The meeting focused on:

examining the effects of the global economic and financial crisis on investment in the MENA region
-
assessing investment-related policy responses to the crisis by governments
-
considering a draft stocktaking paper of good practices for economic zone development in the MENA region
-
and reviewing a draft programme for working group in 2009/10
