10-11 May 2011, Doha, Qatar
On 11 May 2011, in close co-operation with the Public Prosecution Office of the State of Qatar, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the U.S. Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) presented a regional conference in Doha, Qatar to focus on integrity in the private sector.
Participants came from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and included representatives from companies based in the region as well as government officials influential in the fight against corruption. In an attempt to target the most relevant sectors, OECD, UNDP and CLDP recruited representatives from industry sectors that are significant to commerce in the region such as construction, healthcare, transportation and others.
