On the occasion of the meeting, Riad Al-Khouri, a representative of the Arab Business Council stressed, "Empowering [the] entrepreneurial spirit is key for overcoming the investment gap in the region."
Participants agreed to work together to keep pushing reform efforts. Participants to the meeting included key private sector representatives, private equity firms, and regulators from both MENA and OECD countries.
