Key Actors

 

The Good Governance for Development (GfD) in Arab Countries Initiative focuses on six priority reform areas, and features a Regional Working Group for each of those.

The Working Groups represent the core element of the whole Initiative. It is here that its participants, delegates from all participating Arab countries discuss the state of reform in their specific area, exchange experiences and success stories, receive advice from their OECD partners and engage in output-oriented policy dialogue to eventually formulate Country Action Plans.

This process is supervised by the Initiative's Steering Group and supported through the Joint OECD/UNDP Executive Secretariat.

On the national level, delegates are supported through a National Co-ordination Committee.
