A meeting of the Working Group 2 on E-government and Administrative Simplification took place in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, on 25 June 2009. The meeting explored how countries respond to the effects of the global economic crisis with regard to e-government development and implementation.
Participants discussed e-government and administrative simplification from their national experiences.
At the meeting the OECD Secretariat updated delegates on the major events and activities carried out within the framework of Good Governance for Development (GfD) focusing on e-government and administrative simplification events organised since the last meeting of the Working Group and discussed ongoing priorities for the Working Group’s contribution to the forthcoming MENA Ministerial Meeting, 23 November 2009, in Marrakech, Morocco.
