Enhancing SME policies for inclusive growth: Provides a forum for multilateral dialogue and peer learning among MENA and OECD policymakers, experts and representatives of the private sector and regional and international organisations. The discussions will identify the strategic priorities on SME and entrepreneurship policy for the extended mandate of the MENA-OECD Competitiveness Programme (2016-2020).

In preparation of the two investor outreach events planned for May 2016 in Germany and Kuwait, the Programme organised a
workshop for the benefit staff members of the Iraqi National Investment Commission focusing mainly on practical
exercises and training (such as mock interviews) that form the basis of the proposed investor outreach events.
Organised in collaboration with the IMF Middle East Center for Economics and Finance, the training course brought together 33 participants from 18 MENA Governments and Organisations (including the private sector and civil society) to engage in a dialogue on recent trends, best practices and practical tools to foster integrity, with leading international experts and anti-corruption practitioners.

Workshop to provide a comprehensive overview on how to develop effective investment marketing material, discussed samples of Iraq-specific marketing, developed by the OECD with input from Iraq's National Investment Commission (NIC). This material will ultimately be presented at the investor outreach event planned at the end of the Iraq
Consultative meeting for the Libya diagnostic study, SME Development Strategy Project for Libya. Participants included a range of local experts on private sector and SME development in Libya as well as international experts and policy-makers from OECD and MENA countries.
