The analyses presented are supported by a broad range of economic and environmental data and include recommendations for further environmental and sustainable development
As Luxembourg plans for economic recovery, it would be a mistake to sideline the environment, said Angel Gurría. “I would rather argue that in responding to the crisis, environment should be part of a comprehensive strategy to relaunch economic growth and to restructure the economy”, he added.
This report examines Luxembourg’s progress since the previous OECD Environmental Performance Review in 2000, and the extent to which the country has met its national objectives and international commitments regarding the management of the environment and natural resources.
