Off to a Good Start: jobs for Youth synthesis report (2010)

The OECD launched in 2006 a review on Jobs for Youth in 16 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Each country report was presented at a national seminar and includes reform proposals.
The High-Level Policy Forum on Jobs for Youth: Addressing Policy Challenges in OECD Countries (20-21 September, Oslo), jointly organised by the Norwegian Ministry of Labour and the OECD, discussed what decisive actions governments should take to improve job prospects for young people.

The country reports were published in the following order: in 2007: Belgium, Spain, the Slovak Republic and Korea; in 2008: Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom, Norway and Japan; in 2009, Australia, France, Poland and United States; and in 2010 Denmark and Greece.

The reports are published in English or French only. However a French or an English translation of the Executive Summary and Recommendations has been included in the volumes.
