3rd Steering Committee Meeting, 25 March 2013, Paris
This final meeting of the RCI Steering Committee will bring together senior government officials to share and celebrate the learning and achievements of the Regional Competitiveness Initiative over the past three years.
Each economy will report on the outcomes from their capacity building pilot project, and discuss how regional dialogue on competitiveness-related issues can continue at a regional level beyond the lifetime of the project.
2nd Steering Committee Meeting 13 December 2011
The 2nd Steering Committee meeting took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 13 December 2011. Participants endorsed 3 pilot projects to be launched in 2012:
Representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia shared lessons learned with the implementation of pilot projects in their economies. Participants also discussed the evolution of the Steering Committee once the Regional Competitiveness Initiative project concludes.
Steering Committee meeting 22 November 2010
The first Steering Committee meeting was held at OECD headquarters in Paris. Participants endorsed the first 4 pilot projects to be launched in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina the pilot project will focus on facilitating triple helix partnerships between industry, academia and local government. In the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia the project will focus on the development of a whole-of-government innovation strategy. In Montenegro the project will assist in the implementation.
