On 29 and 30 June 2011, three Working Group sessions were held with the OECD at the Grand Park Esil Hotel in Astana, Kazakhstan. Topics discussed included agricultural support measures, investment policy, attraction of modern international retail and human capital development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). These meetings took place as part of the OECD Sector Competitiveness Strategy project.
The 2011 Roundtable provided the first occasion to discuss the implementation of the updated Guidelines and how best to support the OECD's proactive agenda for assisting enterprises to better cope with corporate responsibility challenges worldwide.
Taking place in Indonesia, this international conference will focus on bribery in international business, specifically raising awareness of the risks foreign bribery poses to governments, businesses and individuals; reviewing legal frameworks for fighting foreign bribery; sharing of experiences and best practices in the fight against corruption; and fostering greater international co-operation in this area.
This ICGLR-OECD-UN meeting focused on implementation of the OECD-UN due diligence recommendations for responsible mineral supply chains.
The working group meeting on due diligence in the gold supply chain discussed specific due diligence recommendations tailored to the various actors in the gold supply chain.
Co-organised by the French Presidency of the G20 and the OECD, this conference focused on public-private co-operation in implementing the G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan, anti-corruption compliance, corruption in public procurement, sector-specific initiatives and commercial practices most exposed to corruption
This meeting explored ways to accelerate existing reforms for the improvement of the investment climate in Africa. It also identified key challenges and conditions for increased investment in sectors crucial to reinforcing Africa's productive capacities.
This roundtable looked at how investment policies can contribute to the recovery from the global crisis and improve the development prospects across Asia. It will also consider how the G20 Seoul Development Consensus for Shared Growth can promote private sector involvement and innovation.

Organised in Paris on 22 March 2011, the 14th Roundtable discussed recent investment policy developments including discussions focused on investment law and policy, green growth, the interaction between international investment law and international environmental law.
The First Regional Experts’ Meeting of the Joint OECD/AfDB Initiative to Support Business Integrity and Anti-Bribery Efforts in Africa took place on 13 – 14 January 2011 in Lilongwe, Malawi, and officially launched the Joint Initiative.
