Global FDI flows increased by only 4.5% in 2013 and international mergers and acquisitions, an important component of FDI, were down sharply in the first quarter of 2014 according to preliminary estimates in the April 2014 issue of FDI in Figures.

The DAC annual aggregates database, which provides comprehensive data on the volume, origin and types of aid and other resource flows; 2. The Creditor Reporting System (CRS), which provides detailed information on individual aid activities, such as sectors.
