The OECD Conference on Innovating the Public Sector: From Ideas to Impact on 12-13 November 2014 will bring together public sector practitioners, researchers, civil society and businesses to discuss how innovation can help solve today's complex challenges.
On 22-23 September 2014, the Danish Government and the OECD will organise the next meeting of the OECD Network on E-Government (E-Leaders 2014) in Copenhagen, Denmark to discuss "Improving Governance for Better Digital Strategies".
The OECD Recommendation on Digital Government Strategies aims to support the development and implementation of digital government strategies that bring governments closer to citizens and businesses.
Egypt can use ICTs to drive public sector reform
25 delegates from 16 countries, and a representative from the European Commission participated in the first meeting of the Observatory’s Task Force. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the strategic directions and initial activities of the Observatory. At the end of the meeting, Task Force members supported the nomination of Canada and France as Co-chairs of the Task Force.

The OECD convened the 2010 E-Leaders Meeting on 11-12 October in Brussels, Belgium as part of continuing efforts to help member countries plan and implement their e-government strategies.
