BIAC convened a one-day business focused conference as part of the Stakeholder Forums of the 2016 OECD Ministerial on the Digital Economy. The business community at the OECD took this opportunity to communicate and discuss the future of the digital economy and the opportunities and challenges that it presents.

TUAC held a Trade Union Forum focused on “Sustainable & Inclusive Innovation: Quality Jobs and Skills in the Digital Economy”

The forum brought together speakers from:

  • senior government officials
  • other stakeholder groups to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities arising from technological change focussing on regulatory policies, innovation strategies, employment and working conditions, and skills needs.
