The objective of this workshop was to bring together subject experts and policy makers to consider the breadth of mechanisms used by firms and organisations to source and deploy knowledge in the pursuit of innovation.
This global forum, to be held in Paris on 12-13 September 2011, will explore the role that science and innovation policies should play in fostering growth and sustainable development and in improving the quality of life.
The aim of this meeting is to reach a consensus on how best to ensure the continued growth and innovation of the Internet economy. It follows up on the OECD Ministerial Meeting on The Future of the Internet Economy held in Seoul in June 2008.
This conference aimed to raise public awareness about the growing importance of intangibles in driving economic growth and provided a roadmap for identification of key research and policy areas that can help governments and businesses develop growth strategies.
Education ministers met at the OECD on 4-5 November 2010. They focused on how to foster human and social capital for the benefit of their post-crisis economies and societies.
This workshop, held in Paris, sought to develop a vision and medium-term strategy for work on green research, technology and innovation.
