The OECD Workshop on the Globalisation of Production, to be held in Paris on 15-16/11/2005, aims to examine some of the major challenges related to measuring and analysing the impact of the globalisation of production on employment, productivity and economic growth
The conference (Korea, 6-7 September, 2005) aimed at learning more about the dynamics and new business models of the tourism enterprises and at increasing understanding of strategies that promote the participation of tourism SMEs in the supply and distribution value chains and networks.
In conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the National Contact Points, the 2005 Roundtable on Corporate Responsibility focusing on the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Developing Countries was held on 14 June 2005 in Paris, France.
Organised in the context of the NEPAD/OECD Africa Investment Initiative, this Roundtable in Entebbe, Uganda, on 25-27 May 2005 focused on the regulatory environment for foreign direct investment in African countries and private participation in infrastructure and the utilities sectors.

Interest in the services sector is growing across OECD countries. To help address some of the major measurement challenges, the OECD organised a workshop on services on 15-16 November 2004. The above document gives the outcome of this workshop.
This meeting, which took place in Paris on 19 November 2004, explored the complementary roles of the MENA-OECD Investment Programme and the G-8 Investment Task Force in promoting key reforms to improve the investment climate and fostering private sector development in the MENA region.
