The II Europe Latin American Economic Forum

Inclusive growth Europe Latin America Economic Forum

The II Europe-Latin American Economic Forum: Europe and Latin American in the Wake of Global Paradigm Shifts and New Trends in the World Economy, is co-organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the Paris School of Economics (PSE), with support from the Governments of France and Germany.

The Forum will take place on 20-21 May at the OECD headquarters in Paris, and aims to foster debate and policy dialogue on the key development challenges facing Europe and Latin America and Caribbean countries. It seeks to enhance analysis and policy advice on the new realities and emerging policy issues countries in these regions are facing along their development paths.

Leading experts from Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean will gather to discuss five main areas:

  1. Macroeconomic policies
  2. Sector dynamics, structural change and the labour market
  3. Regional integration, inequality and fiscal policy
  4. Inequality and fiscal policy
  5. Policies for inclusive growth
