There are now 42 signatories to the OECD Declaration on Green Growth. Lithuania has joined Costa Rica, Colombia, Croatia, Latvia, Morocco, Tunisia, as well as OECD members in having adhered to the declaration. Latest reports are now available on Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Korea.
This database provides information on environmentally related taxes, fees and charges, tradable permit systems, deposit refund systems, environmentally motivated subsidies and voluntary approaches used in environmental policy in OECD member countries and a number of other countries. Developed in co-operation between the OECD and the European Environment Agency.
Poland is on track to meet its international greenhouse gas emissions commitments. However, it will need to cut emissions significantly in the future, if the European Commission’s proposal on the Low Carbon Roadmap is adopted.

The International Energy Agency's comprehensive 2011 review Poland's energy policies and programmes. The review finds that Poland has made commendable efforts to develop a solid energy policy framework over the last years. The OECD and the European Investment Bank have agreed to share their expertise in support of economic co-operation and sustainable development. OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría and EIB President Philippe Maystadt signed a co-operation agreement to that effect today in Paris.
This project focuses on the adjustments required to ensure labour markets comply with the demands of a greener economy (adaptation) as well as on the expansion of good quality green jobs as an opportunity to develop lower-carbon activities (mitigation).
