There are now 42 signatories to the OECD Declaration on Green Growth. Lithuania has joined Costa Rica, Colombia, Croatia, Latvia, Morocco, Tunisia, as well as OECD members in having adhered to the declaration.
At this roundtable, M. Gurría concluded that the topic of fairness and intergenerational solidarity is an essential part of our responsibility today and will be essential for the creation of a stronger, cleaner, fairer world economy tomorrow.
Despite progress in recent years, there is growing evidence that OECD countries are not on track to reach some of their key environmental goals. This report examines the strategies and instruments that governments use to ensure compliance with pollution prevention and control regulations.
